Topic #20: Games/Gaming - Ciara

Well, I was kind of struggling to come up with a topic and I thought everyone plays games even if they're not computer games. They play shizz like party games  you know the classics, pass the parcel, musical statues and chairs ecetera...

Here goes, my favourite computer based game of all time is the Sims. It's the world's greatest game ever. I must say my fav is definitely Sims 2, I have all of Sims (I did) , Sims 2 and most of Sims 3.

Sims 2 is the best because it just is. I suppose I prefer it because it was really the first one I got in to properly. I remember when I was in year 4 or 3 or something like that and I would get up an hour earlier then I would have to so I could play it :D

My proudest moment was getting this message from the Grim Reaper :

There was a fire on the lot I was playing which killed 4 of the 7 persons of a family. I believe the only survivors were the dad (who was at work at the time), one twin and a baby (only because they couldn't walk). The most annoying thing about Sims is that when there's a fire all the peeps decide it would be a good idea to go and look at it and therefore frazzle to death :/ Hence the reason the baby didn't die.

Another epic achievement on the Sims is having one person and then eventually turning it into a family of over a hundred, spreading over numerous generations :D

After writing this I have an urge to play Sims 2 so sorry if I don't post next week :D

Topic #19: Teachers - Ciara

Well. It's Sunday. My day to post. But for all we know it might not be Sunday because the days of the week have been sacked from above our names :'( I liked the days of the week.

Anyhow. Teachers. Mr Straw is leaving as you may have gathered. To be honest I'm not really that fussed. I was a bit like you're a annoying because you're such a good teacher and you're leaving us before our GCSEs I'm  probably not going to take Spanish now kind of way. I suppose it's because I didn't have him in year 7 but I really am nonplussed about him leaving.

GINNERS!!! :'(

What the heck is he playing at?!!!
How can he leave us?
He's my favourite teacher ever. :(
What a poohead ;)
On the brightside I'm missing the RE assessment for a dentist appointment
I might even actually buy him a present which is something I've never ever done for a teacher because I generally think that they're all not very good. Well, it depends what I can get cheap. I was going to get something from Topman but it 'twas well expensive :/ Let's be honest I probably won't get him a present just a few dirty looks and definitely no "Hi sirs" from now on :D What an annoying person.

Anyhow I've done enough paedoing on teachers for one night so I'm going to stop there.

Topic #19: Teachers - Georgia :?

Hey :)

I think this is a good topic since we're close to the end of the year and all so we realise which teachers actually taught you something good in the year, haha.

So Mr Straw is leaving, that's sad. I had him in year 7 for French, he was awesome. I learnt so much and I didn't see it as a tedious kind of lesson, because we were always doing something new. He was pretty strict at the start of the year but he certainly warmed up after a while.

I like quite a few of my teachers, more than I dislike, at least.

Here's a few of my teachers:

Science: Dr. Doy - Meh, she can't control the class, is pretty boring, and I haven't really learnt a considerable amount from her this year.

English: Mr Schofield was the best English teacher, but now we have Mrs Nelder, who is lacking the same flair that Schoffers had. She's kind of mediocre and plain. I don't hate her, I just much preferred Shofield.

Geography: Miss Prout - Bless! She's very weird but I've had her for 2 years running and I've learnt so much and I absolutely love Geography partly because of her :)

Maths: Mr Manderson - He's a really really good maths teacher, but I'm just not really that good at maths, I like Mando though, despite his dislike of my rolled-up sleeves. Heheheh.

Art: Mr Wall - Bit of a goon, but he loves me, hahah! He hated me in year 8 until he realised that I was good at art. He once sent me out of the class because I 'talked across tables'... I said 'yes' to something Angus said, and was removed from the room. Sick. I don't mind him now though, I guess. I like art too so even if I didn't like him at all, it wouldn't really make a difference.

So yeah, teachers are good and bad etc. But we always need them, so I try not to 'hate' teachers too much, since they are gonna get us jobs etc. Unless, they're just stupid and don't know how to teach...why are they teachers??

Topic #19: Teachers - Shannon ;)

Senor Straw is leaving.
This deeply saddens me.
He is probably my favourite teacher and has inspired me for what I want to do when I'm older, which is to be a translator or languages teacher or whatever. He has taught us Spanish in the best, relaxed, fun etc. way which is why it has become my favourite subject. But now he's ruined it and decided to leave us all stranded with Cartlidge and Thraves -  two of the worst teachers in the school.. (Along with Swales and Thomas)
Thanks, Sir* :(

The before mentioned Swales and Thomas are teachers are the kind of teachers that could improve the school by leaving.
Mr Swales and Miss Thomas cannot control the class and we never learn anything in their lessons. Just a waste of an hour really with them telling people off for messing around.

Here's my opinion on the rest of my teachers..

  • Mrs Lewis-Just HA.
  • Mrs Sheridan-I really like her because she's dead.

  •  relaxed and when its a really hot day; she lets you undo your top button, untuck your shirt and go and buy drinks in her lesson :D
  • Mr Frettingham-Talks for aaages and then expects us to do loads of work in the last 10 minutes. He isn't mean though. But he seems to know where we all live which is.. weird.
  • Mr Burd-Cannot control the lesson..
  • Ms Aron-""
  • Mrs Dennis-Nice but hates me because of the two annoying little boys on my row.
  • Mr Wall-Everyone hates him but I think he's alright and teaches one of my favourite lessons-art :)

And dats all I gotta say.

*I know he's not reading this but yeah..

Topic #19: Teachers - Joe XD

Sooo, my first topic, this should be fun. The main inspiration for this topic is the leaving of Mr Straw. I think he must be one of the best liked teachers ever as well as one of the best ones ever. It's weird how in year seven he was really scary and strict. I'm not sure when but at some point he became one of the closest teachers can get to being a friend, someone you can joke with and say things like 'Vajina y pene' in front of and he laughs. I think he is one of the best teacher that I have/will ever have. Which is why is pisses me off that he's leaving.

A teacher that makes me laugh is Mr Parr. His awful jokes and his pretty bad knowledge of science(being a science teacher) is hilarious. He has a child like attitude towards work "I didn't do any marking because I couldn't be bothered." and the time he was using a slinky to demonstrate seismic waves and I think it was his idea to try it out on the stairs...

There are three things that I hate in teachers. Being patronizing, thinking that complete silence is needed for work and Schizophrenia(when sometimes they're nice and let you get away with little things and other times they'll have a go at you for the stupidest thing (Mr Vasey (Vassey?)(not actual schizophrenia, that's a serious mental health disorder that can ruin peoples lives, just saying)))) Oh and teachers who can't control the class and nobody does any work. Cough, Miss Thomas, cough cough.

Well that was long and not very humorous, unusual.

Topic #18: Change - Joe XD

Change. I hate change. There is just so much of it in everyone's life. There is so much variety in the different types of change. Sometimes just having lot's of small change can be the most annoying thing. I feel so sorry for all the people who have to deal with so much change in their lives corner shop keepers, vending machines. All those 1p's 2p's 5p's and 10p's. A lot of people just carry around 1 pound coins but you have to think of the people who sell the 99p stuff. Where do all of those 1p's come from. Nobody buys stuff with 1p's. Well that's all I have to say on the matter.

Seems a bit of an odd topic to choose...

Topic #18: Change - Ciara :D

Change is gay. I hate change. Change wrecks everything good in your life.
That is all I have to say on the matter.
